Alena Stocking

Alena is a lifelong learner with a passion for helping others be their best selves. With a career that spans manufacturing, healthcare, and academia, she sees that the success of any organization is driven by people, which is maximized by strong,  compassionate leadership. She finds her work as an executive coach to be extremely rewarding, as the relationships she builds with clients have an impact well beyond the individual and the moment in time.  She has held various positions at the University of Michigan, and the health system, Michigan Medicine in fundraising, administration, and enrollment management. All roles have involved strategic planning and execution, project management, team leadership, and operations management. 

 

Alena began her career working for industrial corporations in sales and marketing. Throughout her career, Alena has been involved with large-scale organizational change initiatives and has worked in complex and ever-changing environments. 


Alena earned her BBA in human resources and an MBA in corporate finance/international business, from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. Her passions include positive organizational scholarship, strategic planning, servant leadership, and developing talent. Her passion for coaching is fueled by helping others achieve their full potential. Her coaching style is supportive and goal-oriented. 


Her motto lends itself to her coaching work, “it is not about the destination, but the journey.” Alena enjoys the journey and helping others on their path as well.
